Production Update — Wax Samples + Plush!

We wanted to share a behind-the-scenes look at the next step in bringing The Bag Lady to life.
We’ve officially received images of the wax mold forms from the factory, and things are moving forward nicely. These wax pieces are an important part of the early tooling and production process, and are the actual models from which the production molds will be made for the cast Vinyl parts!
You’ll notice in the images the torso, head components, skirt, and smaller shoulder parts - all cast in wax. These help us evaluate how the parts will assemble, how the vinyl will flow during molding, and ensure everything is looking just right.
It’s always exciting to see the figure broken down into its individual components, and even more exciting knowing what this means: We are officially in the molding process and should see test samples soon in the coming weeks!
And a Small Teaser…
While we continue moving forward on the Bag Lady vinyl figure, we’ve also been quietly working on something new…
We’re currently developing AMN Plush — and we’re planning to open pre-orders soon on our first wave of 12" deluxe plush dolls.
Based off of the art of Shawn Coss, these plush will capture his story in a very whimsical way. We’re still tweaking some things, but we’re incredibly excited about how these are shaping up. The plush will capture the same unsettling charm and emotional tone that you love from AMN and Shawn Coss.
We plan on opening Plush pre-orders on Backerkit as well, so that you, as our original backers and supporters, have the first chance to get these Stiched Souls in your posession. More details will be coming shortly.

Off to MOLDING - PACKAGING - Final dozen surveys missing.

Hi everyone, quick Bag Lady update! 🎉
First off, we are only missing a dozen of the surveys, so please, please, please get yours completed asap.
Now for the fun stuff - Now that CNY is over and our Asia contacts are back at it, things are continuing to move forward nicely, and we’re excited to share a first look at the latest molding prototype turnarounds. It’s always a huge milestone seeing the character fully mapped out and ready for the next stage of development.
We’ve officially sent the output to the molding shop for initial review and the creation of the vinyl part molds. This is a big step forward as we begin translating the design into production-ready parts.
The PVC parts will then be properly articulated and fitted to the vinyl body components in a later stage, once the initial mold review is complete. That process will help ensure everything functions the way it should while keeping the final figure looking as sharp as possible.
Also, we have our final Window Box Packaging approved by Shawn and ready for the factory for review as well as the Companion Accessories blistered on a backer card. These images represent the final overall look, but may need to be tweaked for the final due to final sizing and drop tests.
We’re thrilled to keep moving this project ahead and can’t wait to show you more as things progress. Thanks so much for all of your continued support — more updates soon!

Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick production update and a little bit of exciting news!
Factory Update – CNY in Effect
Chinese New Year is currently in full swing, so the factory is on pause at the moment (as expected this time of year).
That said, the team is still actively working on prototypes, and we’re anticipating new progress to share in March. As soon as we receive updated samples or revisions, you’ll be the first to see them.
Ancillary Items in Progress
Our pins and sticker sets are also moving forward!
Artwork is close to being finalized, and we should be receiving digital proofs soon. Once approved, we’ll share those previews with you as well.
Packaging Design Underway
Packaging development is officially in motion. We’re currently working through layout, branding, and structural details. We can’t wait to show you what we have planned — expect a sneak peek soon!
Big News: We’re Now on BBTS!
We’re excited to announce that the figures are now available for pre-order on BigBadToyStore (BBTS)!
Being listed on BBTS allows us to:
Reach a much wider audience of collectors
Continue growing the Bag Lady fanbase
Strengthen retail presence and long-term support for the line
This is a big step forward for the brand, and it’s only possible because of your early support.
